AboveLegit
TORONTO -- Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah is likely to miss eight to 10 weeks due to ongoing issues with his right hand, according to a source. The team is expected to make the announcement official within the next 24 hours. Noah is expected to undergo surgery to repair torn ligaments in his thumb, according to the source. Noah was in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Toronto Raptors despite the injury. The Bulls had been concerned there may be ligament damage in his right thumb, according to sources familiar with the situation. Bulls general manager Gar Forman told ESPNChicago.com before Wednesday morning's shootaround that the Bulls are still evaluating the situation and Noah will be re-examined once he returns to Chicago on Thursday.http://sports.espn.go.com/chicago/nba/news/story?id=5922071

Sun Tzu
This really sucks for the Bulls... they just can't seem to keep their team fully healthy.
The Regime
Are the Bulls going to be the Easts version of the Portland Blazers/Houston Rockets? What do the Bulls plan on doing now? Play Boozer at the 5 and Taj Gibson at the 4? They don't have a whole lot of frontcourt depth.
Dr. Feelgood
Wow, a team can finally feel just a little bit of the pain Portland is feeling with all of their injuries.
Jammin
Wow my only fantasy player averaging over 10rpg and this happens.
reno
Well that basically throws out any trade scenario out the window, this sucks. We so thin at center too, just when everyone was healthy and we started to gel, o well.
headliner
The Bulls are one of the best teams in the East and to lose Noah is going to be tough for these guys because Noah bring his heart to the game and plays hard lucky that Bulls have Boozer back or the Bulls would have been very thin up front. *Swish*
This is really... horrible news. I mean, he's their best defender and grabs around 10 rebounds per game. Loosing him is loosing a strong body in the paint that hustles a lot and is the heart of this franchise with Rose. 10 weeks is A LOT. Hope he'll come back sooner.. for now.. Boozer and Taj have to step up
