magicbalala245
The Bucks, for good or ill, have cast their lot with Brandon Jennings. He is their point guard moving forward and will start, barring unforeseen circumstances, from Day 1. They prefer their first-round pick's upside. They like the fact Jennings is quicker and much more spontaneous with his open-floor decision-making. The Bucks have accepted the short-term growing pains that will come with Jennings. They will, to use an unfortunate phrase from a previous general manager, sink or swim with that decision. Flight
Assuming Sessions is gone, who else would have?
ChosenOne
Do they have a choice other than to start him?

Warren2ThaG
He'll avg: 13-3-7.
The Goods
He reminds me of Iverson for some reason.
Flight
Yeah, 3 assists and 7 TOs. Â Â I think it'll be more like 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 4.5 assists. There's not really much to pass to on that team.
Sun Tzu
I'm really excited to see Jennings play. Anyone else?
xx.
Bucks also have Luke Ridnour at PG.
Force
Jennings is a beast..hope he tears it up in the NBA after talking all that ish. lol at how he was drafted too.

Multi-Billionaire
He reminds me of Iverson for some reason. His idol is AI so I guess he patterns his game after AI's. His game looks like AI especially when he shows his first step to the rim.
CaliCurbStomppa
Maybe he will be selfish and be a scoring machine like AI used to be
Multi-Billionaire
But unlike AI he likes to distribute so I didn't see it coming, but I'm starting to like his prospect...
ATL
I don't see a reason why they wouldn't match any offer for Sessions. He's already a proven point guard and he actually passes the ball to teammates. Clippers and the Heat are told to be the only two teams looking to sign Sessions in an offer sheet, and Sessions isn't really intrigued about going to LA with Davis and Telfair already in the backcourt. Unless Miami signs him in a big offer sheet, I still expect Sessions to be a Buck next season and be starting.
Dr. Feelgood
I'm somewhat eager to see this kid play. He's been talking and he's got a good amount of potential. So I'm curious to see what he can bring to the Bucks. I honestly think he has the potential to be the face of Milwaukee. Assuming Redd is traded later down the road to a team that doesn't suck. JWaLL
It was either going to be him or Ridnour, and Jennings is a quicker and more aggressive guard than Luke, so obviously he would get the starting spot. My prediction for his season stats is:Â 14 ppg3 rbp5 apg
Owner Real Deal Posted July 26, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 26, 2009 Super-bust in the making, if he doesn't change his attitude. And if anything, he's a very poor man's Iverson. Jennings didn't go to college because he knew he'd slide in the draft, and if you guys saw how bad ass Iverson was at Georgetown, you know that Jennings would never touch that. You can argue Ridnour but in reality he's nowhere near starting material.

If anything, going to Europe hurt his draft stock.
Warren2ThaG
Who cares about where he gets picked, he will still have the same talent. Id rather have him then Lawson who went to college.
BlueDevil
hmm does this mean sessions is out? that means that they traded RJ in order to have enough money to resign sessions and Charlie V, and let both of them leave. Do they honestly think anyone in the free agent class next yr will come to Milwaukee?

Do they honestly think anyone in the free agent class next yr will come to Milwaukee?I still don't quite understand the RJ trade now either. It would thought to be made in order to resign CV and Sessions. Now both are gone. Hopefully we can at least get some decent FA's next year plus a solid draft. We might be able to contend in a year or two... maybe.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 31, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 They didn't get rid of Jefferson for that reason. They did it because they probably feel like they can bring in a big free agent, and I really don't think that's going to happen.
