EastCoastNiner
At least it was done legally, and not forced down our throats like health-care. The only problem I see is that when there have been polls taken of many military men, they say they don't want gays in the army, but I could care less if they are or aren't. Also, don't give me this whole "equality" crap. Everyone is [expletive]ing "equal", but many of the minorities want to segregate themselves and be treated differently. Why the [expletive] is there black history month? If you want to be treated equally, then don't have a month for one race. Why are there gay clubs? What the [expletive] is the point of that? It's pretty much saying "I'm not equal". The real oppressed class in this country is becoming the white middle class, and that's just the truth. YugoRocketsFan
Doesn't affect me, but pretty cool to see that lots of people are getting past the religious bullcrap and doing whats right.

I agree with this but no reason to post it here imo, has no relation to anything.

The real oppressed class in this country is becoming the white middle class, and that's just the truth.Pretty sure they surveyed millions of men and women in the Armed forces, and 75 percent of them said that it should be repealed and gays should be allowed to openly serve. I have to find that specific stat somewhere, I forget where I heard it. I think they were talking about it on The Daily Show. And the middle class is becoming oppressed because of Republican policies that favor the rich...but that's for a different topic.
htown11
IMO I don't see how you can throw the "equality" factor of this out the picture. Gays were being restricted from something and now will be allowed to participate I don't understand how equality hasn't been acquired here?
