trutrojan8
Actually a man by the name of Otto von Guericke invented a machine that produced static electricity in 1660.Too bad you couldn't use that for anything like the objects you mentioned... Hawks Fly High
The 1300s weren't the great age of Europe, plus the Roman Empire was very weak in the 1300s compared to what they were after Jesus' death. Also you have history wrong, the European dark age was from the 5th century, the Renaissance begun in the 13th century.Actually no. Rome fell in 476 A.D. YOU have YOUR history wrong. I referred to Rome as the Golden Empire of Europe because they were overall most succesful. Funny how when Rome fell the Western more European end collapsed while the Eastern side that had fused with the Middle east and stayed successful survived. Ironic isn't it? Also just because a lot of good painters were born in the 1300s doesnt make the Renaissance any special to me. The Arts are nice and all but i wouldn't classify them into any magnitude that other nations have accomplished.
Hawks Fly High
Actually a man by the name of Otto von Guericke invented a machine that produced static electricity in 1660.But no one knows who he is, hence he is not very important which means his machine was probably really faulty. Plus static electricity would be too weak to power any of the objects you mentioned.
JYD
This thread is an example of why we need a black history month. Now we have a "which race is superior?" debate. Â Blacks FTW

Hawks Fly High
I'm reading your claims wrong then, but the Mongols didn't put Europe into the dark ages. The Mongols decimated the Western Roman Empire and destroyed all government. This led to the splitting of many of the large provinces into many small ones. There was no central power, land was quite dangerous, and Princes were taking over and then getting killed. This was the Dark Age, and it all started with the Mongols. It's been fun debating with you Slaven , but its time for me to go to bed. We will continue this later Edited December 23, 2010 by Hawks Fly High

Lkr
What a bunch of vag inventions, a Kite wth? How about Radio, Remote Control, Refridgerator, trains, television, telescope, microscope, Thermometer, Telephone, Helicopter, CD, Tapes, Calculator, Microphone, Piano (and tons of other instruments since you like rock/metal), Stove, Lawnmower, Photography, Dynamite, Submarines, Printing press, Internet, Calculator, newspaper, Diesel Engine, Car, Cinema. Also wasn't beer invented in Germany in the 1500s? Also Nikola Tesla (Serbian) was credited for 300 inventions alone. The US is not Europe, so at least one doesn't workIf you really think Euros invented the CD then lol... YugoRocketsFan
Show me a helicopter that will run off of static electricity Like I said it doesn't matter, Europeans still invented most things regardless and most things you find in your house were invented by Europeans. Quit acting dumb and embrace your European descent.

Lkr
The CD and CD-Rom was invented in the Netherlands -_-the first CD was pressed in Germany, actually. Therefore, it wouldn't have been 'invented' in the Netherlands. It is true that the first CD was introduced at a press conference in the Netherlands, however. Not to mention there was no 'inventor' of the CD, as there were many teams of engineers from Sony and Philips collaborating on the project. The best part? There were TWO men that came up with the concept and were lead developers. One was Dutch(so I guess you can have .00000005 of a point?) and the other was Japanese. It was still a huge TEAM effort, led by two JAPANESE companies. Edited December 23, 2010 by Lkr
