[Dwight Howard (21.6, 12.8) and Kevin Love (20.8, 15.6) are the others.] Since 2006-07, only Tim Duncan, James and David Lee have more games of 25 points, 15 rebounds and five assists than Griffin; they each have four, he already has three.Source
Hawks Fly High
Funny thing is that his worst game in that span was a 13 and 11 night which is similar to Okafor's season averages.

Owner Real Deal Posted December 30, 2010 Author Owner Report Share Posted December 30, 2010 Beat the rookie record tonight, put up 30 points and 12 rebounds. Griffin's double-double was his 26th this season and 20th in a row, breaking the Clippers rookie record set by Michael Cage during the 1986-87 season and giving Griffin the longest such streak by any NBA rookie in the last 40 years. Only two players in the league have had longer double-double streaks during the last 10 years - Kevin Garnett (37) and David Lee (24).http://www.cbssports.com/nba/gametracker/recap/NBA_20101229_UTA@LAC
Sħãlïq™
Blake Griffin scored 19 of his 31 points in the first half and pulled down 15 rebounds for his 27th double-double and 21st in a row.
Nitro
Blake Griffin scored 19 of his 31 points in the first half and pulled down 15 rebounds for his 27th double-double and 21st in a row. To add to this, it was also his 10th straight game with 20+ points. To put that into perspective, the best rookies I can recall in recent memory, LeBron, Melo and Tyreke, never achieved that feat in their rookie seasons. This kid is amazing. Check my Stats
Can someone explain to me why he isn't a shot blocking machine?
Nitro
Can someone explain to me why he isn't a shot blocking machine? I don't know, but besides that and his FT shooting the guy does pretty much everything extremely well. Even his passing is amazing for a big man (3.2APG to 2.7 TO's, with mutliple 5+ assist games). I've only seen a handful of full Clipper games and didn't pay much attention to his defense, but he leads the team in defensive win-shares, and is 3rd on the team in Drtg (behind DeAndre Jordan and Kaman, who has played only 10 games). His opponent counterpart statistics are also decent as well (giving up a 15.6 PER with 21/10 on 47% EFG per 48min). So, he's obviously not a horrible defensive player, and I am sure his shot-blocking will come along.

He's obviously not the team's best defensive player. He's not even the 2nd best. His man defensive right now is Amare'ish, maybe even worse. The stat probably speaks on his defensive communication. The Clippers' defensive rotations have been pretty impressive this season.

The Lone Granger
Blake Griffin is just ridiculously wrong for how old he is. Like I've stated in almost every single Blake Griffin thread that I've posted in, he's doing this in his first NBA season. It's almost impossible to believe how good he's been playing, and I really can't measure how good this kid is going to be in a few years after he gets more experience. He's going to be one of the best players in NBA history in my opinion.
Sħãlïq™
Griffin had 22/18/7 tonight, keeping both the double-double and 20pt streak alive.Blake Griffin's latest double-double (22 pts and 18 boards in the Clippers' 13-pt win over Denver) is more than just his 22nd-straight 10-point, 10-rebound game (something no rookie has done since Elvin Hayes did it in the 1968-69 season). It's his 11th straight 20-point, 10-rebound game, and if you trust Elias, that's something no rookie has done since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did it in the 1969-70 season. But don't trust them completely, because it was actually Lew Alcindor who did that, since he didn't become Kareem until after the Bucks won the 1971 NBA title. (And he didn't become Roger Murdoch, the co-pilot, until after he moved on to L.A. and stopped working hard on defense.)
