The Truth Posted December 31, 2010 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 the MLE can only be used on one player. we might be able to use that on Chalmers, but we'd lose Arroyo and possibly James Jones, Eddie House, and Big Z. the salary cap is set at $58M this year; it'll probably be even less next year. we're already on the books for $65M next season. we're gonna be about ten million bucks over the salary cap with only half a roster. like I said, we might be able to get Chalmers for the MLE, but I don't know how we're supposed to sign another five or six players when we're already over the cap by several million.
