The Regime
The Magic are in need of a big man following their two blockbuster trades earlier this month. Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated believes that New Jersey's Troy Murphy may be a possibility for Orlando. "Don't be surprised if Orlando goes after Troy Murphy if Murphy is bought out after the deadline. Big, stretch four would fit the system," Mannix tweeted on Monday night. http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/70812/20101228/could_magic_go_after_troy_murphy/
Nitro
Eh, don't see the purpose. He's been awful this season and even though he's 6'11'' and a good rebounder, he doesn't provide the defense that they need behind Howard. I'd pass. Check my Stats
What contracts are they supposed to be using to acquire these big salary players that are in the rumors?
Riot
I'd rather have Tony Battie.

Guest STL10
What contracts are they supposed to be using to acquire these big salary players that are in the rumors? J-Rich for Murphy matches up perfectly.
Nitro
Did you guys read the quote? It says the Magic will go after him if he's bought out.
Newman
I would rather have Ryan Anderson than Troy Murphy playing minutes if Murphy can't shoot the 3 ball well. He is a terrific rebounder though, no doubt about that. Still, I would rather have a tall C who play in the post than Murphy if I am the Magic. Universe
I'd kill to get a Anderson-Murphy trade and I'm sure Brook Lopez agrees.
Abro
They dont need a troy murphy type player. Especially since he's been paying like crap.. They need gortat back! Edited December 30, 2010 by Abro
Poe
The Magic have Ryan Anderson. What they need to do is replace Gortat.
