The two were involved in an altercation outside of a Washington D.C. club last week, but it isn't known whether the team's decision to shop the big men is a direct result. Washington signed Blatche to an extension over the summer that runs through 2015. Via CBS SportsThe Wizards would have a great team if these two guys didn't have such a low basketball IQ. I would love McGee on the Chicago Bulls if we didn't have Joakim Noah because he is an athletic freak, but we don't have the assets to give to Washington anyway for McGee and I don't think McGee would like to come off the bench for Noah anyways. Blatche showed his true colors when the Bulls played the Wizards, he is a lazy, soft, and selfish as well.Discuss. AllenIverson#1fan
But, Blatche can score. They'd get pretty good talent for these two. I'd like to see the Celtics go after Blatche. That way we would have someone good to back-up KG.
AboveLegit
But, Blatche can score. They'd get pretty good talent for these two. I'd like to see the Celtics go after Blatche. That way we would have someone good to back-up KG.Nate Robinson had the ability to make the transition from an immature chucker to a mature spark off the bench, Blatche does not. He doesn't deserve to wear Celtics green. Anyways, I think it's time we move on. By way of comparison, I keep hearing that Blatche has turned the corner and is worth the Wizards’ time (and Leonsis’ $35 million). And then he gets into a fight with McGee outside the Shadow Room last Friday, leading to a one-game suspension for each. Given Blatche’s history — taking forever to get into shape after breaking his foot last summer, which followed refusing to go into a game last March when asked by Flip Saunders and being benched for three quarters, which followed a one-game suspension last January, which followed his arrest in June 2008 for reckless driving and operating a vehicle with a suspended license, which followed a solicitation charge in August 2007 — why are we still having this conversation? Does anyone think it’s a good idea for Blatche to be around Wall any more than it was a good idea for Arenas to be around Wall?Great point there by Aldridge. We gotta move him ASAP, it's the right thing to do. I think the fear of corrupting Wall is silly (hence why I was so reluctant at first to trade Gil) but if it is indeed the reason why we moved Arenas, it only makes sense that we do the same with Dray. We're trying to change the culture of this team, so we gotta throw all the bad seeds out. As for JeVale, he's just immature on the court, and that can be rectified. I would hate to see him go, he has loads of potential, and he showed it earlier in the season.
