Celtics3420
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP)—Kevin Garnett(notes) left Boston’s game at Detroit on Wednesday night with a right leg injury after hurting himself on a dunk late in the first quarter. Garnett grimaced as he threw down the dunk, then immediately started limping when he landed, favoring his right leg. He made it back to midcourt before intentionally committing a foul to stop the game. link legit, this ruined my day.
bigdog17k
But how serious is it? Was it just his calf?

AboveLegit
It didn't look too bad, they will probably just sit him out for a few weeks.
AboveLegit
Edited the title for ya. Update: Kevin Garnett has a muscle strain in his right leg. MRI results came back negative. He will likely miss a "couple of weeks".http://twitter.com/#!/celtics/status/20590043424882688
The Regime
Well it's a good thing that the Celtics have plenty of frontcourt depth. Assuming that he misses no more than two weeks this is what Boston's upcoming schedule looks like: Friday, December 31 New Orleans HornetsSunday, January 2 @ Toronto Raptors Monday, January 3 Minnesota Timberwolves Wednesday, January 5 San Antonio Spurs Friday, January 7 Toronto Raptors Saturday, January 8 @ Chicago BullsMonday, January 10 Houston Rockets Wednesday, January 12 Sacramento Kings Friday, January 14 Charlotte Bobcats I see them losing no more than 3 games. Kevin Garnett will probably be back when they face the Orlando Magic.
