How much can you Bench Press?

Now I can only bench about 205-210, but back in my senior year of high school (end of 2008) I was able to bench 315. I started doing mad drugs and lost a lot of strength and muscle, and since then I haven't gotten consistently back into lifting. Below is me benching 285 when I was a high school junior...

I havent benched for awhile since i been on the p90x program but i could bench 245 or so when i was lifting. I know for a fact i lost a lot of strength so i definitely went down but i honestly dont care. Right now i can do around 300 pushups or more a day and a lot people who can bench a lot probably cant do that many pushups if you ask me.

I think my max was around 205-210, I can't remember. I took weight lifting classes junior and senior years of high school and after I graduated, I haven't benched since. I was able to rep 175-180 between 5-7 times I believe. Now though...my max is probably about 170 if not lower. I miss lifting.

damn man you look like u were gonna kill yourself lol.. Better make sure you have a spotter you dont want to injury yourself badly.. BTW how come you dont lift as much you used to?

Why wouldn't you have anyone spotting you?

I used to lift in my room, and a lot of times I was the only person in the house when I had time to lift. Besides, it is perfectly safe to lift without a spotter as long as you keep the clamps off, so if you fail on a rep and get in that position, you can just slide the weights off. In that video the bar got caught on the pin that adjusts the rack (so it can go up and down), which is why that looked so bad. But I never had problems with that method.
