JYD Posted January 4, 2011 Report Share Posted January 4, 2011 I'm having a problem with my connection on PSN. I have never really had an issue before with my connection...I wouldn't say it's flawless, but it's always been pretty reliable. Over the past week or so, it's been pretty awful. I can still connect to it each time I sign in, but then when I go to play a game of Madden or 2k11 I always get disconnected at the 'select teams' screen or it says "The EA servers are unavailable at this time." Same goes for 2k servers as well. I can't figure out the issue. I tried the test connection thing and it always fails on the 2nd or 3rd one....yet I am connected to PSN just fine...I can talk to friends, etc. It's really weird how the second I go to play a game I get kicked off. Outside of something like that, I have no idea...I turned the router off for a minute, didn't unplug anything. Just to show you all how frustrating this has become: I just finished a game against my friend online in Madden. Beat him 34-6..It was lag free, everything ran smoothly. Then I go to play a game of NBA 2K11 online 5 minutes later, thinking hey, maybe it will work...nope. 3 minutes into the game it says a Network problem has been encountered. So frustrating. But PS3 online has always been great for me the year and a half I've had it. I used to have 360 but then I got the red lights with my warranty was up so I got rid of it and all the games/accessories and bought a PS3.
