The Lone Granger
Knicks president Donnie Walsh promised that he won't let impending restricted free agent Wilson Chandler get away this summer. http://www.rotoworld.com/images/headshots/NBA/1403.jpg Walsh knows he probably should have locked Chandler up long term last summer. Now that the swingman has broken out in a monster way, the pricetag is going up daily. Ideally, the Knicks would like to sign Carmelo Anthony as a free agent first and then go over the cap to re-sign Chandler. The current CBA allows teams to retain their own players via the Larry Bird rule. rotoworld He's been a beast this season, and if Walsh did let him walk, then I would doubt his decision-making as a GM. As long as he plays with the kind of confidence that he's been playing with this year, he's going to put up big numbers. How much money do you guys think that they'll have to give him to get him locked up long-term? Thoughts?

JYD
He'll probably demand quite a bit because of the season he's having, but man, has this guy been good. Everyone wants to talk Stoudemire, Felton, Gallo, Fields...but this guy has been equally as important. His improved shot has made him into an all around completely player. He's our best defender, quite possibly our best rebounder, and is developing into a deadly three point shooter. From what I've heard/read this guy works as hard as anyone, too. Supposedly even on New Years Eve he spent hours in the Gym even though the Knicks didn't play for days, working on his jumpshot.
*Swish*
Wilson is one of the most underrated defender in the NBA. He's having a great season and there is absolutely no reason for Walsh to let him go away. Even to get Melo. Way better to let Gallinari go
AboveLegit
I love this kids game. Good all around player, and he'll only be 24 in May. Kudos to Walsh for showing confidence and loyalty in Wilson, his best days are ahead of him.
Check my Stats
They would have to surrender his rights in order to sign Carmelo Anthony.
