The Goods
Alonzo Mourning is returning to the Heat as a member of the team's front office. Mourning said Friday that he will be Miami's vice president of player development. "My on-court contributions are retiring, but I still feel like I can contribute to the game," Mourning said. "I'm very knowledgeable, a student of the game, and I think my experiences can help the team and the players." Mourning officially retired as a player earlier this year. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60112/20090626/mourning_moves_into_miamis_front_office/

His Greatness
He's probably there just to show up. Pat Riley does all the real work.
Flash
Awesome. I wonder if this might be Riley's way of grooming him to be our future GM possibly???
OldChili
I'm glad he's still involved in basketball. Shame his career had to end with an injury.
platoon793
I'm glad he is still staying with the team, even though he won't be in a jersey anymore. Hopefully he stays with this organization.
