If anyone can help me with that, I'd appreciate it. Early reports were that she passed away, and now they are saying she's in critical condition, in surgery, at Univ. hospital. Parents confirmed it, and so did someone on staff at the hospital. Four or five others have died, one may be a federal judge, one may be a kid...but reports are coming out that say the child is also in critical condition. Gabrielle Giffords was critically wounded Saturday in a shooting at a Tucson, Arizona, grocery store in which at least 11 other people were injured, officials said. Darci Slaten, a spokeswoman for University Medical Center in Tucson, said Giffords was undergoing surgery Saturday afternoon for a gunshot wound to the head. A federal judge from Arizona was among the 11 others shot in the incident, a law enforcement source told CNN. JYD Posted January 8, 2011 Report Share Posted January 8, 2011 I don't understand what Palin's map has to do with the shooting? It is really sad, I saw this all over CNN about an hour or two ago. She is reportedly alive after immediate surgery. She was shot at point blank range and the bullet did go through her brain, so who knows if she'll be able to speak or walk after this.
