Amar'e text messages Melo saying he wants him in New York

Recommended Posts

Since when is it tampering for 2 players to talk to each other? Lol and text messages as evidence for any charge? Amar'e doesn't live in California.

But according to those text messages Amar'e is telling Melo to knock down any trade that would send him to the Nets and be patient and come to New York.

How do you know what the text said? The op just said that Amar'e wants Melo in NY lol that's it. I don't see how this would be considered tampering one bit. Players talk to each other about playing together all the time. Who finds out this [expletive] anyway? What players send to each other through text messages.

Did you not read the article well look at what it said

The Knicks’ forward recently contacted Anthony via text message with a two-fold agenda: Make sure Anthony knows that Stoudemire himself wants Anthony at his side, and push Anthony to resist a proposed trade to the New Jersey Nets. Stoudemire is sensitive to public suggestions that he would prefer to play without a Madison Square Garden co-star and has repeatedly expressed that to Anthony.

It might not be exact word that Amar'e texted Melo but he clearly said somewhere along the lines to resist any trade that New Jersey is willing to give for you and wait out till you can be dealt to the Knicks.

When I first saw this text I thought it was part of a 3 part story that started with the the teammate saying STAT didn't want Melo, the the second story said STAT did want Melo, and now this is STAT texting Melo to say to ignore the first story. Now it's turned into something else entirely. Oh well I can careless.

Lol @ the fact you seem to be buying anything on the internet.

Has Amar'e come out and said "this is what I texted Melo?" Did you see Amar'e's phone?

Felton Amare and Melo would be the new big three. I don't think this new big three would be stronger than the one that is playing right now in Miami but they would still be contenders. Would be pretty hard to mesh up well together in the beginning of the season and I think Melo should wait until the off-season

 at you being that stupid. Why would Amar'e come out and say this is what I texted Melo? If he did it could lead the league in look into and possibly find tampering charges against Amar'e and the Knicks and there goes there chances of the Knicks acquiring Melo via trade this season.
