Lkr
I'm still able to get on. It's only /b/ and something else. I haven't lost it yet, but I'm calling to cancel all my AT&T [expletive] tomorrow.
Lkr
If you run a popular website, please help by banning AT&T IP's but let your users know why. - 12.20.0.0/8, 76.192.0.0/10, 68.88.0.0/13, 75.0.0.0/10, 99.128.0.0/
GamerGuy
I'm all for net neutrality, but I could really care less about 4chan. This should definitely be interesting.
Owner Real Deal Posted July 27, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 27, 2009 AT&T made a big mistake...not messing with 4chan, but just making internet users aware that they are going to start cutting your resources. On the other hand, 4chan sucks, and I truly hope that AT&T crushes them. As "bad ass" as they believe they are, the truth is, AT&T can severely sink their traffic and ultimately put them under. It's easy to mess with owners of small and medium-sized websites, mess with internet users from YouTube, etc. It's another thing to step onto the battlefield with one of the bigger companies in the United States, especially when that company has a hand in your advertising profits and your overall traffic and popularity. Guest N4S
haha They blackholed them. Comcast only blackholes websites from customers if the site presents harm to our customers/network. For example if we are seeing malicious attack like activity we will block it. Like phishing sites. Wall2Wall
I feel like such a non-nerd by not knowing what 4chan is and what is going on right now.

AT&T is 15.5% of internet users. sure 4chan will lose some advertising and traffic, but it will not put them under or close to it

Camby23Land
/b/ (section of 4chan) is the best. For new[expletive]s, it's basically an image board of random things, usually foul things, that contains insane profanity, racism, gore, etc. Anybody can make a topic on there as long as it has an image and there are some hackers who visit there among other people. The place has no boundaries. Edited July 28, 2009 by Camby23Land
deestillballin
hm... Yo Brandon you think the guy that's been hacking and messing with you is affiliated with 4chan? I was about to say the same thing
Owner Real Deal Posted July 31, 2009 Owner Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 hm... Yo Brandon you think the guy that's been hacking and messing with you is affiliated with 4chan? I didn't even know what 4chan was until that one guy replaced our front page with some message authored by "MootAnon" or something like that. But it could've been a fake, obviously.
