I'm looking to go to a Phils game some time this summer. I'd probably recommend the Pirates series next month. Or maybe Marlins. Weekend tickets are so tough to get, especially against good teams. Â I really hope this has nothing to do with the all star game (not putting him on the DL). We could really use an extra body on the 25 man roster if he is not going to be contributing this weekend. However, I wish he wasn't starting because the starters are required to pitch a minimum of 2 innings. I'd rather see him get the rest. Â .304/.379/.528, 17 doubles, 12 triples, 10 homeruns, 15/18 SB. 5.0 WAR (top 10 in entire MLB, regardless of position). And 7.0 UZR at a premium position. Â What a beast. So I guess the 5 year Mathieson project has finally come to an end. Kind of sad, I was rooting for him. Â This move clears up a spot on the 40 man roster. Have to wonder if a trade is coming.
