He has a lot to do with the recent struggles, but more so the fact the Knicks defense has been even more poor than usual and also Stoudemire has really been forcing shots, too. It's a rough stretch. Personally, I knew the team was overrated from the get-go. I still think they'll win 40-42 games, but I think we need to make the deal for Melo now. Once he got really hot, he was taking tougher shots, pull ups, leaners, fadeaways, and making them all. Now he's back down to Earth, and instead of going back to his set shots, he's still in the fancy footwork mindframe. Needs to get back to basics. All-star break can't get here soon enough.
