The Goods
Mark Jackson and Kurt Rambis appear to be the leading candidates for Minnesota's vacant head coaching position. Rockets assistant Elston Turner is on the short list as well. Timberwolves general manager David Kahn is conducting his second round of interviews with the top candidates. League executives have long considered Jackson the favorite to land the job, but Rambis is apparently getting strong consideration. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60829/20090727/jackson_rambis_leading_candidates_in_minnesota/ I don't want Rambis to leave the Lakers, but I still want to hear "Mama there goes that man" and "Hand down, man down". Dash
Please be Rambis, someone with winning experience. Turner wouldn't be bad but I rather have him stay in Houston. No clue on Mark Jackson but Kahn must be impressed.
The Goods
Mark Jackson Looks Like Favorite For Wolves Job According to a report from Charley Walters, Mark Jackson is all but certain to become the next head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves. The former NBA point guard has most recently served as an analyst on ESPN, but he has no previous coaching experience. http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/60877/20090730/mark_jackson_looks_like_favorite_for_wolves_job/
