The Heat will raise season-ticket prices for the 2011-12 season.

They will have some allowances built into pricing plans if there's a work stoppage this summer.

Without further explanation, the team said the price increase will be "minor."

Those who renew ticket plans with the Heat may be eligible for discounts throughout this season's playoffs.

It's smart and normal. I expected that to come when LeBron joined Miami. This team is exciting to watch so they should be full every night.

Doesn't bother me....I get my tickets for free, as do a majority of people I know that go to the games. I am not sure who has enough money to buy 3 or 4 tickets full priced for a game.

My dads company always buys season tickets so we just use those if the boss of the company doesn't go to a game.

That's how I went to a Philly game earlier this year (and will go to another in March against Houston), and the parent company my dad works for has Miami season tickets in the box seats. My dad promised he'd take me sometime this winter when I was off school, which I just dropped out of, so I don't know if that'll happen for me this year -_-
