Nitro Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 Not anymore. Now that I'm dropped outta school and have no car, I only get to chill with friends 1-2x a week. That number will drop even farther in a week or two when I start working full time. It sucks. When I do hang out with friends, we usually just sit around because NJ suburbs are rather boring, and we rarely have the $ to go do something. Check my Stats Posted January 26, 2011 Report Share Posted January 26, 2011 (edited) play basketball at the courts with the dudes I chill with at school or at home with my old friends mostly we'll go play some pond hockey during the day or find something to do until night where we'll either drink or play video games. We do most the same [expletive] we did when we were 14/15 except for now at night we party or something instead of just hanging out lol. Most the people I hang with we like to be doing something, that's why we'll still go play some puck or ball if we have a chance, I think that's a big reason we never really got big into weed like a lot of kids in my town. I do like my solitude more than most though. I have no problem sitting in my dorm room or in the living room at home surfing the web for hours on end. During the summer, we'll play ball every day (really...every single day), but I don't consider that hanging out. Once I'm done playing, I'm gone. Just too much time doing other things. We go to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings every Thursday ($.65 wing night). On Fridays or Saturdays, we'll go bowling at 11:30PM until 1:30AM. In high school we hung out pretty much every afternoon, it was so chill. It wasn't as much basketball as it was just partying, talking about random [expletive], and just doing random stuff. Ever since I started college and got a job i just havent had the time to hang out with those same guys. I'll bump into them on campus every now and then, and we'll hang out maybe once every month. I have a close group of basketball buddies who I play with 3-4 times a week, recreationally and city leagues. I hang out with these guys alot more than I do with my high school friends.
