Cobb
The Orlando Magic have waived guard Jason Williams, President of Basketball Operations Otis Smith announced today. The Magic’s roster stands at 13. Williams (#44, 6’1”, 190, 11/18/75) played in 16 games this season for Orlando, averaging 2.1 ppg., 1.5 apg. and 1.4 rpg. in 10.7 minpg. That sucks, I kind of like Williams. Rumors are going around saying that he could possibly end up on the Heat or Knicks.
*Swish*
Not stupid. They didn't need Williams when they have Arenas, Nelson and Duhon (I maybe forget another one)
The Truth
with Arenas and Nelson, they have no need for Williams. I wouldn't be surprised if they eventually cut Duhon also.

The Truth
lol rly? that sucks for them. maybe they'll package him in a deal for a big man.
Nitro
With Arenas' history of injuries, it'd be smart for them to keep Duhon for the time being. As for Williams, I'm sure his services could be used by a few teams. Definitely would fit in with the Knicks as a cheap, backup PG.
Owner Real Deal Posted January 27, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted January 27, 2011 Didn't he "leave the team" just the other day? It makes me think he was pissed over lack of playing time, which he shouldn't be because Williams is a shell of his former self. He was one of my favorite point guards in the history of the game, when he was in his prime.
fish7718
I'd love for the Knicks to pick him up, can pass and hit 3's, all we really need. It would be interesting to see if when we got him what would happen with Bill Walkers PT.
NomarFachix
Yeah I'd love to see the Knicks pick him up too.
Newman
I personally think he is going to retire again, but that's just because I don't think he would get PT anywhere.
