AboveLegit
He has one of the best jumpers I've ever seen. His PG skills are getting better and it looks like he'll be a decent defender at the next level, although he still has a lot of work ahead of him in that regard. But that shot alone will make him a deadly weapon on any team. Right now he kind of reminds me of a very underdeveloped Steve Nash, which leaves a lot to be desired, but as a first rounder, he can wind up being a very good thing, especially if he develops other aspects of his game. 43 points on 14-24 FG, 10-11 FT, and 5-8 from three. Crazy.
Smitty
At the same time though...if he keeps this up and his draft stock keeps raising... For some reason I think he may wind up like Adam Morrison or JJ Redick at the pro level. In terms of being an amazing scorer/shooter in college, but that skillset not translating well to the pros at all, and just being a low tier player in the league. Great college player, maaaaaybe not so good pro. Hopefully he proves that theory wrong.

He was a pure scorer in college, nothing more. He could be like a Stephen Curry, but as I said before, he just needs to work on his PG skills. Great mid to late first round pick if you ask me. Warren2ThaG
Hate to say it, but he has bust written all over him. Not if he is on the right system, nice potential in the NBA. maybe superstar not sure yet
AboveLegit
I don't see how he can be labeled a bust when he's probably a mid to late first rounder.. Adam Morrison is a bust because he went #3.

Adam was just an example really. I'm generally saying a player with amazing skill in college that doesn't translate well into the pros with examples like a Morrison, like a Redick(hell, you can throw Mateen Cleaves in there) Not saying Jimmer WILL be a bust, but at the same time...I've seen hype for this type of player before, and the outcome.. He's worth the risk. And there's nothing wrong with being like JJ Redick, he struggled early on in his career, but has developed into a nice role player on a championship caliber team. He has improved drastically on defense. And let's not forget the same criticism was over Steph Curry when he declared for the draft. Like Warren said, if he's in the right system, he can be a good player in the NBA.

fish7718
Ammo wasn't even that bad a scorer at the NBA level, he just so horrific defensively that no team could afford to actually play him. I think its tough to say how Jimmer will pan out just yet, he's not a pure shooter like JJ was and he's probably not as bad defensively as Ammo was. YugoRocketsFan
I am not gonna say someone is a bust just because, anyone can be a bust. I remember people saying Joakim Noah and Tyler Hansbrough were only gonna be good college players and would do nothing in the NBA. It really depends on the team he goes to and the system they decide to run when he gets there
JYD
Haven't really seen this guy play besides highlights. Obviously he looks pretty damn good in those and his statistics are through the roof. I wonder if he'll pull a Stephen Curry in the NCAA Tournament this year?
