reno
Fishers a great head coach, what a shame, I'm sure some other team will pick him up. Perhaps the bengals/dolphins?
Cobb
I am kind of shocked shocked by the news of Jeff Fisher. I guess this means that Vince Young stays?
AboveLegit
Yeah, I'm guessing VY gets another chance to prove himself. I think Fisher will take a year off.
Cobb
Seems like the parting of Jeff Fisher will not change the Vince Young situation. I have heard that the team still plans to trade or release Vince Young. Weird, I figured they would have given him another chance like AboveLegit suggested. Cleveland's Finest
I thought this was Derek Fisher...I was like wtf... I thought they decided to stick with Fisher. I wanted them to so the Browns could sign Young.
Jenneral
I thought they made it clear that they were going to part ways with Young and stick with Fisher for at least one more year. I guess that wasn't exactly the case.
The Truth
lol what a joke of a franchise. they acquire Moss for him to play one measly game, they cut their starting quarterback, then they fire the head coach. can't wait to see what's next, Bud. Lkr
lol what a joke of a franchise. they acquire Moss for him to play one measly game, they cut their starting quarterback, then they fire the head coach. can't wait to see what's next, Bud.Moss played 8 games. Vince Young hasn't been cut, but he sucks, so why would it be a joke to cut a bad player? Edited January 28, 2011 by Lkr
The Truth
Moss played 8 games. Vince Young hasn't been cut, but he sucks, so why would it be a joke to cut a bad player?haha w/e bro, I don't follow football. we can all agree Young isn't the best QB out there, but he's the best they had at that position. I thought the whole reason they cut him in the first place was because of his beef with Fisher. now after all that, they're getting rid of Fisher. if they keep Young, it won't be so bad, but I doubt that happens. The Great iBoldin
Jeff Fisher was always one of the more overrated coaches. I'm not surprised in the least.
CaliCurbStomppa
Surprised they axed him. I thought they wanted him back then they change their mind... Look like VY has another year to prove himself to the front office that he's the right guy.
The Regime
Yeah, I'm guessing VY gets another chance to prove himself. I think Fisher will take a year off. Nope, doesn't look like it. Mike Reinfeldt confirmed at Friday's press conference that he still plans to trade or release Vince Young.
