magicbalala245
My vote goes to Kobe as he is a better lockdown defender out on the wing, is more clutch, hit the boards better, and a better offensive player as he can score better on the perimeter better ex. 3 pointers. As far as I am concern Kobe is clearly better then Wade. I just want to hear what most members on this forum say.

Legacy
I like Wade more, but Kobe is the best player in the league.

Flash
Biggest Wade fan there is and even I think Kobe's better. Wade is a better slasher and help defender but that's it. More summers with Tim Grover and he'll be right there though.

platoon793
Definitely Kobe as of right now. Kobe is a better one-on-one defender, and Wade is only better at help defender (his blocks/steals). Kobe also has more range on his shot (3 pointer), but both are good mid-range. Wade slashes better, and is more of a playmaker though. I would say it's somewhat close, but Kobe is definitely a bit better.

Kobe now, Wade in 2010 (with a new team or with Miami).I don't know how you can say that when Kobe has done nothing to show is about to fall off. At this point your logic is strictly based on "what you think will happen" with no evidence to back it.
Check my Stats
How is Kobe going to fall off? His amazing jumper will keep him effective as long as he wants to play. Sure his defense and ability to get to and above the rim might decrease, but this is natural as that happens when you get older you lose a step, but his offense will always be top notch and he knows the game inside and out. Flight
I feel like he is going to get worn out from being the go-to-guy for the past 5 or 6 years, whatever it's been since the Shaq trade. He's going into his 14th season, and his body will eventually wear out a little. I'm not saying he's going to pull an AI and go from being a potential scoring champ to a bench leach, but he might not be the same 28 PPG guy. Wade on the other hand will benefit from a solid team, a solid year to build off of, and health to improve. I think he can be a better player than Kobe by 2010, when they both could potentially have new teams (even though it looks like they'll stay both places). So yeah Guru, I'm going off what I think. He's gonna be 31 by the start of the season, you can't go forever, no matter how invincible we all want to believe he is.

Wade's majority of his baskets come from driving, getting knocked around on his [expletive] and getting the the line. Meanwhile Kobe is the best mid range player in the league, his points come from the midrange and launching mostly jumpers. If anyone has a chance of getting "worn down" it is Wade. Wade is expected to do more, Kobe has arguably the best supporting cast in the league, I know it's your opinion but I find it extremely hard to believe Kobe is going to get worn down when he has to carry half the load Wade does. EDIT- And since when is 31 years old even old? Acting like dude is 35 and his knees are gone. To say he might wear down by 35 I can agree with something like that, but to suggest he is a year or two from falling off is absurd IMO. Years
Kobe's the obvious choice to me. I actually believe he's the best player in the game right now. In my opinion there's no one in the game that gets it done at a higher level then Kobe.
