Check my Stats
Which team do you like better? I didn't really provide a specific year for the Pistons because I wasn't really following far outside the Raps at the time, so I don't really know which team was them at their best (I figure it was their title team but I could be wrong, that's why I left it open). But anyways, which team do you think is better in comparison?
Nitro
03-04 Pistons. They had a much better defense than this Spurs team does, and a better, more experienced bench.
Finch23
Meh if it wasn't for Fishers .4 second BS shot, the 04 Pistons would be irrelevant as I still think SA was the better team and would have won the finals. Anyway I agree that as of right now the 04 Pistons were getter because San Antonio isn't where they need to be defensively.

If it wasn't for Duncan's BS fadeaway off the glass from like over 20ft out, the Lakers wouldn't have needed that Fisher shot anyway. And had it not been for Horry's ridiculous Game 5 in the 2005 Finals, that Pistons team (which wasn't as good as the previous year's squad) would have probably beaten the Spurs without HCA. The thing about Duncans and Horrys "BS" shots were that they actually made them with enough time on the [expletive]ing clock. Derek Fishers shot shouldn't have counted plain and simple. I have watched the tape many times, and the clock doesn't start until Fisher is already up in the air. In .4 seconds you do not have enough time to catch the ball with your back to the basket, jump and turn 180 degrees and release the ball. As for Horrys heroics in game 5.... You act like it's shocking, the man did those kinda things his whole career in the postseason. Edited February 1, 2011 by Finch23
