AboveLegit
Wall led all Eastern Conference rookies in scoring (13.9 ppg), assists (10.5 apg) and double-doubles in the month. He also became the first rookie in NBA history to have nine or more assists in 10 straight games. In addition, Wall's 168 assists in the month were the most by a rookie since Mark Jackson had 172 assists in 1988.http://www.nba.com/2011/news/02/01/rookies-of-the-month/index.html?ls=iref:nbahpt2 He's really putting together a nice first year in the NBA despite him missing a ton of games. I'm seeing a lot more Rajon Rondo in him than Derrick Rose, his jumper is atrocious right now and he's so hesitant when he's wide open for a shot. But he's comfortable passing the ball and playing the passing lanes. His defense has been pretty bad as of late, but he has a lot of potential there. Owner Real Deal Posted February 1, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted February 1, 2011 It always takes point guards longer to develop. The transition is just much tougher, especially when they are asked to run a team that really doesn't have the talent to compete or even make the playoffs. Impressive month, though.
