*Swish*
http://www.realgm.com/images/nba/4.2/wiretap/photos/2006/Perkins_Kendrick_bos_090426.jpg Kendrick Perkins will be one of 2011's most coveted free agents. The Heat are one team that will be interested in signing Perkins, according to a source. Given Miami's anticipated cap situation, they will be limited in the type of offer they can extend to Perkins. http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/210636/Heat_Will_Have_Kendrick_Perkins_On_Free_Agency_Radar If they actually sign him, they will have a way better defense! I think that would be huge for them also for the offensive presence and boards. But I doubt they won't get over the cap

SRV
Don't know how he will do this, but Riley is a guru....I no longer question his strategies.
Zolor23
No. We're gonna keep him no matter what.
Check my Stats
If the Heat are taking Perkins it will be from Danny Ainge's cold dead hands. The fact they can only offer the MLE makes this even more funny. It is like how the Lakers pop up every time a big name like Melo or Dwight is mentioned, when they don't even have the means to secure the player. Anyways, teams with cap will be going hard after Kendrick, a team like Toronto I could see offering close to 8 figures annually.
Flash
Yea there's no way this happens. But like SRV said, I don't question The Godfather anymore. Edited February 5, 2011 by Flash
