Dash Posted February 17, 2011 Report Share Posted February 17, 2011 David Beckham and his 19 management advisors, led by Simon Fuller, have begun exploring possible locations for the Major League Soccer franchise that Becks has an option to buy at a reduced price at the end of his LA Galaxy playing contract in December. Beckham and Fuller are looking at the potential of establishing a team in Miami, San Diego, Atlanta or Montreal. The plan does mean Beckham won't get involved with the New York Cosmos being run by his former personal manager and close friend Terry Byrne. The MLS could especially use another high profile owner besides AEG, potentially David Beckham the owner could draw in more international players than Beckham the 'out of his prime' player.
