The two sides have the framework of a deal in place, but Anthony needs to be sold on an extension. Anthony may meet with Mikhail Prokhorov, owner of the Nets, this weekend during the All-Star Game Weekend. Clearly the Nets wouldn't be any better than the current Nuggets are right now. It's just not going to happen at all. He wants to win, not keep rebuilding and struggling on a team.
