Associated Press - The Colts have released former Pro Bowl safety Bob Sanders.

"We thank Bob for all his incredible contributions, from his Super Bowl interception to his defensive player of the year honor," owner Jim Irsay said in a statement.

After being named the NFL's Top Defensive Player in 2007, Sanders signed a five-year, $37.5 million contract but played in only nine regular-season games the next three seasons.

He's better than the weak [expletive] safeties on Chicago

safety is our least concern, and a healthy bob sanders is better than 95% of the safety out there. We had the same problem with mike brown, fantastic player who unfortunately just couldn't stay healthy. I think he could be a good backup, just save him till the playoffs.

And OJ Otogwe, dude has a knack for making plays when the ball is in the air.

I knew I had forgot about somebody. There really is no excuss for the Texans to at least not sign one of these guys. Bailey has already signed with Denver but theirs still guys out there.
