Legacy
What direction do the Nuggets go in? Trade Nene too?
The Truth
they should trade K-Mart, Nene, and Smith, but it probably won't happen.
Lkr
Nene for Ron Artest
Dr. Feelgood
Well, the Blazers are guaranteed a playoff spot now, in my opinion.

The Regime
Nene for Ron Artest I don't see how that helps us. We need more frontcourt depth but not at the expense of losing one of our two sf's (Luke Walton doesn't count he sucks).

Smith is hella decent
Sun Tzu
I'd say their best bet is to try trade Nene for either some young talent or a replacement for Melo.

Flash
This Nuggets team can still compete going forward. No, they're definitely not a factor in the playoffs this year...but for a team that lost a superstar, that's a pretty nice package of players coming back their way. They should rebuild much faster with that team than the Raptors or Cavs will IMO.
Cleveland's Finest
Build on Lawson, Gallo, and Chandler, and find a young big man. They have loads of picks and talent....much better position than say, the Cavs. On a side note, it's pretty pathetic that Melo was never a free agent, yet dictated where he was going. Denver paid him THIS season to play, and all he did was start rumors and talk about leaving. You talk about disrespecting the city you represent, that you wear on your jersey every night. The athletes of this generation, at least a majority, are sending this society into the wrong path. You talk about disrespecting the city you represent, that you wear on your jersey every night.gtfo of here. I'm sorry, but this annoys me. really, all your posts annoy me, but this one especially. Melo helped Denver in this situation. rather than pulling a LeBron (saying he'd stick around, then leaving), he allowed the Nuggets to get something. he could have just left this summer for nothing, but he was honest with them. he said he wasn't going to be back, they understood his decision, and they made a deal. you said yourself this was a pretty nice return for Denver, so how could you possibly criticize Melo? you can't have it both ways. he either plays out the season and leaves for nothing or they trade him. they chose the latter, which was the right decision, and they did a great job considering he was an expiring contract. to people like you, the athletes simply can't win. if Melo signed with a different team this summer, you would have thought it was disrespectful. had he done what he did here, you also would have thought it was disrespectful. so other than him signing the extension with Denver, he couldn't have possibly done anything to win your approval. that's what's truly pathetic.
