Guest N/A
Who won? http://assets.nydailynews.com/img/2011/02/19/alg_carmelo-as-knick.jpg Edited February 22, 2011 by N/A
reno
Knicks, they traded players who will never win them a championship to a guy they can build on and win in a few seasons. They will also attract free agents to come in at a cheap price. Edited February 22, 2011 by Cutler=Pansy
Sun Tzu
I think this trade just made the Knicks so much better although at the expense of a lot of depth for the Knicks, I still think this trade might show the biggest increase in their record than any other team. Flash
This year, I don't think the Knicks will be that much better than they already are but it should pay off in the future without a doubt. It all depends on what they do during the next 2 summers.
JYD
Well we sha'll find out. Disappointed with how much we gave up, but my two favorite players on the team remain in tact (my light skinned brotha landry fields and amar'e) so i'm not shedding any tears. but i will say i loved raymond felton, gallo was winning me over after i bashed him all off-season, and wilson chandler was a pretty consistent player for someone that was young and getting better. Guest N/A
In 2012 when the Knicks sign CP3 or Deron Williams all will be forgotten...

Flash
In 2012 when the Knicks sign CP3 or Deron Williams all will be forgotten... Nothing is guaranteed with that, especially with the new CBA that will be in place. No one knows what's going to happen.
JYD
Not mine! Timoooooooo nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!Lol. Mozgov was a tough one to lose just because I liked his potential as a legit big. Man played hard and really wanted to approve, it was quite obvious... What can Sheldon Williams and Balkman give us? Anything? Once Balkman left NY I didn't follow him. Always thought he was a bum. I guess both of them still are...

Check my Stats
Quality>Quantity. Knicks make out of this deal like thieves, but at least Denver gets SOMETHING for him, so in a sense they win too, just not as much as New York does. Knicks will remain competitive with Chauncey and set themselves up nicely to get CP3 or Deron now.

Lkr
Denver won. If Melo walked and they got nothing, they would be in a better situation than Cleveland, but it would still be an awful situation. They got some really good young talent and picks out of it instead of just losing a franchise player.

Jonah
I'm not sure everyone realizes this, or if its legit. But Brussard is reporting that Corey Brewer is coming to the Knicks as well. That made the trade A LOT better!

Check my Stats
I am more interested what this means for the bigger scheme of things, specifically with the CBA. No doubt for at least 20 other NBA teams looking at Melo forcing his way to New York to play with Amare and *2012 FA here* and wanting a hard cap to prevent it from happening.
