The Nuggets currently sit at 32-25 (7th seed), but the Grizzles and Warriors are playing some solid basketball as of late and trail them by one 1 game and 4 games respectively. Can the Nuggets ride this lineup into the postseason:

PG. Raymond Felton/Ty Lawson

SG. Aaron Afllalo/JR Smith

SF. Danillo Gallinari/Wilson Chandler

PF. Kenyon Martin

C. Nene/Timofey Mozgov/Chris Andersen

I HIGHLY doubt this will be their team on Thursday.

Expect half of that team to be traded within the next few days...

Agreed.

I think they might have a chance but without Melo or Billups... I tihnk their chances aren't very high.

No way, Grizzlies are way too close for comfort and Blazers/Suns are right on their heels as well. It will be interesting how this team meshes without Carmelo and how Gallinari performs as the primary perimeter threat.

Only guys that I can see the Nuggets parting ways with is Raymond Felton, JR Smith, and Nene, outside of that I don't think there's any reason to trade any other guys unless you can upgrade at the position. The team is good enough to make it into the playoffs as an 8th seed.

From the group of guys that they traded for I feel that Gallinari is a a good role player with high upside, and I think he's the long term solution at sf for Denver. Chandler can probably be dealt, but I think Denver is going to overvalue him and that's ultimately going to keep him in Denver . And I think Mogzov is a good experimental player so he wont go anywhere.

Nuggets are high on Ty Lawson, so it doesn't make sense to keep Feltons contract. Felton is probably the most likely candidate to be shipped out imo. JR Smith has been in Karls doghouse and has ego issues but that expiring is hard to deal because teams have to either match it or give the Nuggets a tempting offer. And lastly Nene has already made it clear that he wants out of Denver so there's a good chance he'll be on his way out. With that said, the deadline is only a couple days away so it's going to be tough to get multiple deals done by then.

Karl said Ty will start... and Nene should start at PF, benching KMart who's being rested on most back to back games to watch his knees

They kind of remind me of the Grizzlies team back when Hubie coached them. They run 10 deep (and Mozgov and Forbes can help them as well). They also have two very intelligent players running the point, which allows Karl to let them run. If players get tired, they have the luxury of bringing in a legitimate sub off the bench and really not lose a step. They will run into problems once teams shorten their benches in the playoffs, but they should be ok in the regular season. Don't be surprised if this team wins 50 games.

Mozgov didn't see any playing time last night, and K Mart looked great. Are you sure that George Karl is going to go with that lineup?

^KMart didn't play in Portland game... doctors have advised him not to play back-to-back games... he's sat out the 2nd games of back-to-backs all season.

And yeah Karl has yet to play Mozgov, but I think he's got a chance to be a legit starter. The objective is to put Nene at his natural position at PF.
