Dash
Williams vents Frustrated about his lack of playing time, guard/forward Terrence Williams said he hoped the upcoming trade deadline will get him off the Rockets' bench. He said he would prefer to play for the Rockets but hopes to be somewhere he can play by the end of the week. "I want to play basketball, whether it is here or somewhere else," Williams, 6-6, said. "I like the thought of being here with Aaron (Brooks) from home. But I'm here to play basketball and I'm not doing it. It's nothing against them. At the end of the day, I just want to play basketball." Williams, who has known Brooks since he played youth football for Brooks' father in Seattle, has played in only six games since being acquired by the Rockets on Dec. 16. "It's been very hard," Williams said. "It's having a job and you can't do it." http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7439848.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+houstonchronicle%2Fspbkbkn+%28HoustonChronicle.com+--+NBA+Basketball%29&utm_content=Google+Feedfetcher Can't say I blame him, Adelman has yet to give him a chance to play even when Courtney Lee, Aaron Brooks and Budinger/Battier missed time. Its ridiculous because the few minutes he was able to showcase his game, he was clearly better than most of the players in our rotation and yet for whatever reason Adelman has him in the doghouse. It seems Morey and Rick don't see eye to eye on the T-Will situation, Morey views him as a potential all-star and 'definitely' in their long term plans. Adelman...I just don't get what he's thinking anymore. I honestly hope he's gone after the season and T-Will is still a Rocket.
htown11
I hope T-Will is a Rocket as well he fits a new direction that the Rockets need to head into, Adelman on the other hand does not. I don't see why Adelman would even want to be apart of a team that could potentially be rebuilding. T Will has been venting on Twitter for some time now retweeting his followers as they rock the #FreeTWill hashtag. You really can't blame the guy and from local reports here he's been a very good teammate through all off this.... but you can only take so much as a player. Gotta side with T Will on this one and not Adelman it doesn't make any sense to me why he isn't playing it's not like Chase Budinger has been great neither has AB and we know Terrence is versatile enough to play various positions no excuse not to somehow implement his talents and at least give it a shot. htown11
Part II. Sadly that's what it seems like even though Adelman and him show no signs of argument.... Adelman just seems like he's being stubborn unless T Will is dogging it in practice or something, but haven't seen any reports on that. Last time someone asked Adelman about playing him he just said he would rather stick with the guys from training camp..... that's not saying much.
