Cobb
The Atlanta Hawks are working hard to move point guard Mike Bibby(notes), and Washington’s Kirk Hinrich(notes) has emerged as a real target for them. Denver’s Raymond Felton(notes) and Portland’s Andre Miller(notes) also are looming large on the Hawks’ radar, sources say. The Hawks have inquired about the Nets’ Harris, but there are no deal possibilities there, sources said. The Hawks are trying hard to rid themselves of the three years and $23.2 million left on Marvin Williams’(notes) contract after this season. “For what he makes, it’s a tough sell,” said one NBA coach whose team desires a forward who can score the ball. The Hawks also have explored trying to trade guard Jeff Teague(notes) and swingman Maurice Evans(notes) to the Cleveland Cavaliers for guards Ramon Sessions(notes) and Manny Harris(notes), one source said. He's still a solid perimeter defender and he's got excellent handles. I think Kirk would be a great fit next to Joe Johnson.
AboveLegit
Yeah and he's a good shooter, but I'm wondering what we would get in return, I highly doubt we go after Marvin Williams. Maybe Teague and a draft pick..
Newman
Teague and Evans for Sessions and Manny Harris sound like a good trade as well.
*Swish*
On another forum, the guy said he might fit with Boston or Lakers here is what I said I don't think the Celtics might play him a lot though. They already have Rondo as a starter and Robinson who comes off the bench and is better than Bibby since Mike is getting old. Robinson could play SG though and the Celtics could put Bibby as PG but I don't really see a big interest from Boston. Maybe Lakers could be a good idea though. He would make the Lakers bench way better and adding a really good veteran like Bibby is always beneficial.
Newman
Hawks would not trade Bibby to the Lakers or the Celtics because they don't have any realistic trading pieces that the Hawks would want. They probably won't buyout Bibby either.
Paul
I wouldn't take Hinrich to be honest.
