JYD
Will he ever play? If so, when's he due back and what the hell was his injury? I think he could be valuable.
Newman
Apparently he has already returned for a scrimmage, so he should be back soon. I don't have the details, but all the articles have been saying it's a knee injury. People forget that he was averaging almost 15 points before he went down and granted, he would have lost some ability after the surgery, but he should be good for 10 PPG. On a side note, he will have to give up his #7 jersey for Melo.

JYD
The jersey change got me thinking maybe he could add a spark off the bench if/when he comes back... I've honestly never seen the guy play, or at least I don't really recall. So I was just wondering what type of player he was lol.

I saw him play on the Warriors before the injury, he was pretty smooth all-around. Good defender for sure. Solid role player.
Paul
Azubuike was really solid for the Warriors last year. I like his style of play. Good trade bait to go get that center

fish7718
-A source told Alex Kennedy that Kelenna Azubuike will be making his Knicks debut very soon. New York may release someone to sign Earl Barron, but if not Philadelphia and Milwaukee are interested. Corey Brewer’s inclusion was important to the Knicks because they wanted a perimeter defending to match up with Boston and Miami. I thought they traded six players and received six back. been hoping to work his way into the rotation after the All-Star break, and his target date is now looking realistic. Guest N/A
Wouldn't the Knicks release Rautins? He never plays and is in the coach's doghouse.

JYD
Yeah I guess Rautins would probably go..^ Wouldn't mind seeing the guy get some PT but he never does. Who is this Earl Barron guy? Not too familiar with him... Sounds like Azubuike could be a good player for us depending on how he recovers from this injury which must be pretty damn serious. Someone who's mean. Like a Kendrick Perkins (watered down version obviously not going to find someone on the street as good)
fish7718
I'd cut Roger Mason before I cut Rautins, news to me that Rautins is in the dog house.
NomarFachix
I know he was on the team but why'd they get rid of him and why's he available if he was that effective? He's not really a true center, but he's a super long skinny body who rebounds decently. He's not a great scorer, either... Just a big body who can keep with the D'Antoni tempo. Got rid of him because he wanted to test the market and we nabbed Mozzilla, but I wouldn't be shocked at all to see him back.
NomarFachix
Yeah def. don't cut Rautins, cut a bum like Mason Jr.
JYD
well hell bring back barron and yeah anthony mason jr sucks but he barely plays too. not to sound like HOV here but it's hard to tell how he could be...he must not be showing much in practice or something... NYK at this point needs role players obviously, but they need certain ones. they need a guy like ben wallace was to DET Pistons during their champ./playoff runs...they need a good rebounder and defender. forget any type of offense/passing/fleet of foot/etc. Turiaf is somewhat of that guy, but they need an even better enforcer. If they can somehow find that guy they'll be in good shape.
Newman
Also about Barron...this guy has no shooting touch whatsoever but, fortunately, he can grab a lot of rebounds so lots of times he grabs his own miss and tries again until he makes the basket. Guest N/A
Am I the only one who thinks Shelden Williams will get a lot of run with the Knicks? He's 6'9 and is a very good rebounder and decent defender.

He's 1 of 16 in his Knicks career from the field, at least Rautins fills the role of useless white bench player.
