Flash
HUGE for the Nets and for the Eastern Conference. Power is certainly beginning to shift East.

Universe
Bam! Gonna wait to see what picks are being used but not a bad deal considering what we were gonna get for Devin.
Guest N/A
Nets are genius. They gave up less for Williams than they would've for Melo. Also, they have probably the best point guard in the league to build around now. Don't be shocked if the Nets lure a superstar in the next two years, but I doubt they can lure Howard. NomarFachix
Russian guy >>>> Knicks management. Russian guy had a ton more valuable assets to use, that's for sure. But... Knicks >>>> Nets, so I guess they cancel each other out.
htown11
Gotta give credit to the Russian guy... works on Melo for weeks fails and then comes up with a really nice plan B.

NomarFachix
@LarryCoon: Just confirming what others have already figured out -- Deron is NOT eligible for an extension before the CBA expires @Lockedonsports: Deron Williams told me it was not his choice. He's stunned. Declined interview until he figures out what it all means Prokky and Jay better work their magic on this kid, can't afford to let him walk in '12. kingfish
Thats a nice trade and all but they still not that great of a team. Theyre at least two years away from being a contender. At least now they probably wont be a lottery team though. But it would be hillarious to see Melo not sign the extension with NYK and then go play with Deron and Brook in NJ Edited February 23, 2011 by kingfish
Guru
Atleast Brook Lopez is no longer the face of our franchise.
Makaveli
Thank you Deron for making the playoff run for the Lakers so much easier. No Nuggets, no Denver. LA just keeps on getting stronger without even making a move.
