Owner Real Deal Posted February 23, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 The Nets are currently 17-40. The Pacers are 25-30. New Jersey has 25 games left, Indiana with 27. Can they catch the Pacers? :o
Universe
Haha no but hopefully they don't drop any farther.
Clutch
maybe, pacers are playing pretty good though
Warren2ThaG
Not a chance, but stop ignoring Portland in the West. They might beat OKC in a division title.
Guru
I doubt it but you never know. Maybe DWill starts putting up 35 a game with 12 dimes
Flash
Doubt it, the Pacers are playing decent ball right now and I think they should stay as the 8th seed.
Dr. Feelgood
Probably not this year but next year, they may.
fish7718
Even if the Nets go 17-8, all the Pacers have to do is go 10-17 so I doubt it heavily
Lkr
they're in the east, anything is possible for the playoffs.
ChosenOne
Yes they will. DWill and Lopez are gonna start killing.

JYD
I'd say there's a better chance than people are saying here, but at the same time I also don't think it'll actually happen. Basically, to be a bit clearer with what I am actually saying... I wouldn't be surprised if they did squeeze into the 8th spot, but I wouldn't bet on it. Guru
We do have the one of easiest remaining schedules in the league so we should finish out strong. But I still think playoffs is a stretch at this point.
Guest N/A
Nets could possibly makes the playoffs, but it's HIGHLY unlikely at this point. If Lopez starts to rebound again, and Avery isn't too hard on Deron, then you may see a playoff push. Sportsguy9695
I would say that they dont have a shot. But with them trading for Deron Williams they may do it this year. But a better chance next year

The sched isn't much worse for NJ, so who knows, it's def not impossible. Edited March 15, 2011 by andreusito
fish7718
Why did you bold those teams and not Chicago?
andreusito
Why did you bold those teams and not Chicago? Missed them. And they beat Boston today, it keeps getting better.
