Guest N/A
wiz won this deal clearly. I disagree, I think it was an equal trade for both sides.
AboveLegit
I disagree, I think it was an equal trade for both sides.Yeah it was. Love the deal for us though, we save some money (not a whole lot, but I'll take it), we bring in a young guy (I really wanted Jordan in the draft), and a first rounder. I would have much rather preferred a 2012 first, but it's whatever, I'll take it.

Late draft pick who has a smooth game and is a good defender.
SeasonSeven
Bibby is a definite upgrade from Hinrich offensively, and Crawford will be good if given time to develop.

Make It Naaaashty
Bibby is a definite upgrade from Hinrich offensively, and Crawford will be good if given time to develop. Not really, Hinrich can shoot just as well as Bibby from deep and also has a consistent mid range game. Hinrich>> Bibby.
The Regime
Hinrich is two times the defender that Bibby is, excellent trade for the Hawks. Wizards can experiment with Jordan Crawford a little, dude has some potential
Guest N/A
Hinrich is two times the defender that Bibby is, excellent trade for the Hawks. Wizards can experiment with Jordan Crawford a little, dude has some potential Excellent trade for both teams, Wizards got Hinrich for free basically and just shipped him off for a decent back-up PG, 1st round pick, and the upside of Jordan Crawford. Plus, if Wizards buy out Bibby they will gain cap flexibility. The Hawks acquired Hinrich who is a solid PG and is a great shooter and defender. Hilton Armstrong is also a decent back-up as well, he has nice post moves and is a decent defender.

AboveLegit
He played well in the game in Chicago a month or so ago, he's not terrible.I remember Mustafa Shakur playing well against Boston and New York, but now he's off his 10 day contract and in the D-League... One game proves absolutely nothing.

I'm just going off of what I've seen out of him man, I'm just giving my opinion. When he was on the Hornets whenever I watched him play he wasn't terrible either. I'm giving my opinion, you're giving yours.

He doesn't rotate well on defense, he isn't a good rebounder, and he hardly knows what to do on offense.

He doesn't rotate well on defense, he isn't a good rebounder, and he hardly knows what to do on offense. His defensive rating per 36 minutes would qualify for the top 50 if he got more minutes, even advanced stats prove he's a decent rebounder. http://www.basketball-reference.com/players/a/armsthi01.html http://www.basketball-reference.com/leagues/NBA_2011_leaders.html Also, Armstrong may not know the offense, but he still has nice post moves. You also can't argue against the fact he has stealth factor...http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ljq59M9xXjA

Guest N/A
Stats can be deceiving. Stats don't lie though in most cases, I'm not saying Hilton Armstrong is good, Hilton is DECENT. He will offer the Hawks more than Josh Powell as back-up PF/C.
Hawks Fly High
I like this trade and if Armstrong can turn into a serviceable center all the better.
