Dash
STEIN_LINE_HQ Wolves/Rockets talking Jonny Flynn deal ... but Wolves said to be talking w/other teams, too. ESPN.com link: http://es.pn/g1T7Bi Ken Berger KBerg_CBS The Jonny Flynn deal with Houston involves either Jared Jeffries or Aaron Brooks, sources say. Teams discussing picks, too. Not done. I've been in support of a Flynn for Brooks kind of deal for quite some time. Interesting that the Rockets are looking to add another pick considering they also may receive one from Memphis. Houston is certainly rebuilding.
Guest N/A
We said earlier Jonny Flynn was on the market. Apparently the Rockets, for some bizarre reason, are aiming at getting him according to ESPN. This would surely have to be in conjunction with moving Aaron Brooks for something, otherwise the Rockets are spending assets to acquire a sub-par point guard. Dash
KBerg_CBS Scenario is complicated because it could involve one or more pieces that would go to Minny for Jonny Flynn, i.e. Aaron Brooks.
Owner Real Deal Posted February 24, 2011 Owner Report Share Posted February 24, 2011 Brooks is undersized and a chucker, no defense. Houston has to get away from that. I have no idea why Minnesota would be interested, though. Brooks isn't a triangle point guard.
Dash
^Flynn is an even worse fit for the triangle.
