Built Ford Tough
Guard T.J. Ford has been with the Indiana Pacers for the last three seasons, but the word is that he likely won't be with the team after today's trading deadline. A source tells NBA.com that the team will offer Ford a buyout if he can't be traded today. A trade "likely won't happen," the site notes. Ford is averaging 5.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game this season. The 27-year-old was the eighth pick overall in the 2003 draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, where he played till 2006 when he joined the Toronto Raptors for three seasons. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Pacers-offering-Ford-buyout-;_ylt=AnSfkjkHnQ_eLIvD7SuWyIu8vLYF?urn=nba-325747 Not really a shocker considering they have tried to buy him out more than once over the past year. I also can't see a trade happening with him. I read somewhere that the Blazers may be interested in signing him should he be bought out.
