Dash
Demo came out a few days and I just finished playing, everything about the game was incredible especially the gameplay which is completely different from the first game. Can't wait till it comes out in 2 weeks.
Built Ford Tough
How different is the gameplay? I loved the first game, but the one complaint that I had about it was that the gameplay was a bit choppy. The story was amazing, graphics were great and the voice acting was top notch, but the gameplay definitely could've used some work. I don't have my PS3 at the moment so I can't download the demo to check it out for myself.

Completely different, you have to see it to believe it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRQzl5u5oeQ
Dash
4 hours in and so far everything about it has been amazing. The only thing lacking is that the word map is shorter (at least right now it is) and so is the overall length of the game, but it makes up for it with quality. I'll probably pick this up in about a month or so when I'm done all my exams.

Someone posted this over at gamefaqs: Dragon Age: Origins1,000,000 Words1,000 Cinematics1,000 Characters56,000 Spoken Lines60 Hours of Gameplay Dragon Age II400,000 Words2,500 Cinematics500 Characters38,000 Spoken Lines40 Hours of Gameplay Main story is only 15 hours though but the game keeps you occupied with plenty of other quests. Some have even played 50 or more hours but I guess they are just playing slow. I'm about 20 hours in and nearing the end of Act 2 and there are 4 Acts so I will be in the 40 hour area. Dragon Age 2 makes up for the loss in game time with gameplay and more interesting quests. Most fans don't like this game compared to the original but honestly I don't see anything wrong with it. Its far from a hack-and-slash, which is what most critics call it, and it actually requires some strategy. Characters are better this time too although I do miss Alistair and his Carth-like whining.
Dash
I'm now in the middle of Act 3 and I like how each Act has its own different plot but eventually it all begins to tie in with each other. *minor spoilers with the Champions exploits* Act 1: funding your expedition to the Deep RoadsAct 2: role as minor nobility ; politics with the QuanariAct 3: politics with the mages and templarsAct 4: ??? Its fun to see how your Champion progresses through each one. After Act 1 he regains some of his family's past stature and owns a mansion, then after Act 2 he gains the name as Champion and his influence in Kirkwall grows, etc. After Act 3 you can become viscount, adding to your character's achievements. Dash
Correction: there are only 3 Acts instead of 4, took me 32 hours to finish which is still fairly long. Worth the money imo. Time to start on my mage playthrough.
