Cleveland's Finest
Tonight, JJ played against Amare. Now, we all recall the Cavs decision to keep JJ, rejecting a possible trade which would have swapped JJ with Amare last season. Both had great games tonight, each posting 5 blocks and a double-double. In the past two months, he's averaged 13 and 17 respectively, along with 10 rebounds per game. This season, he's had 29 blocks the last two months, after starting with 8 blocks in the first three months. He's also averaging around 1 more offensive rebound per game than last season. Last year, he averaged 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds. Most noticeably, JJ has 14 double doubles this year, as opposed to his 4 last season (started in 73 games last year; 41 starts this season). If he keeps up his recent success, he should finish the season averaging around 14-15 points, along with 8 rebounds around. Is he a candidate for Most Improved Player of the year? Is this season an indication of a bright future? Edited February 26, 2011 by Cleveland's Finest

Kevin Love is most improved player by a planet, but JJ has gotten better http://www.otrbasketball.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/wub.gif
