magicbalala245
Kobe Bryant may not have played in his last All-Star Game in Los Angeles after all. Not if AEG president and CEO Tim Leiweke has anything to say about it. Leiweke and AEG just finished up throwing this year's NBA All-Star Game and are otherwise engaged with the task of bringing the NFL back to Los Angeles, but they're already thinking about bidding to host the NBA All-Star Weekend again as soon as 2013. "I think we're going to go right back after it," Leiweke said Thursday night, after accepting the Executive of the Year award at the L.A. Sports Awards. "We'll work with the Lakers and the Clippers to see if either of them want to host it. "Neither one of them have hosted an All-Star Game in a long time. If either of them want to do it, we'd certainly be partners with them and that would add a twist to the bid. But I think the league, the players, the team owners, everyone had such a great time, and for the city to have a $100 million economic impact like we did here, it would certainly be great to get them right back here." Purple&Gold
Why not? Los Angeles is one of the popular cities that can have huge events at. I wouldn't mind. Also, I don't get why Bryant quoted this was his last All-Star appearance. As a Lakers fan I was confuse thinking that he was gonna retire but who knows. I would like to see it in Los Angeles again though.

Guest N/A
I don't think any event wants to mess with Jerry World after they failed with the SB That event wasn't a mess though, the SB was the only event to fail at that venue. Guest N/A
and if you drop the ball on such a big event, no one will want to mess with Jerry World. We were 1-1 on NBA All-Star games, that's all that matters.
Lkr
We were 1-1 on NBA All-Star games, that's all that matters....no, it really isn't. if you think [expletive]ing up the Super Bowl won't have an affect on drawing events, then you are delusional. No reason for AAC to not host it though.

SRV
Has it ever been in Miami? I think Miami has the most to offer in terms of "festivities" along with New Orleans, LA, New York and Chicago.
