AboveLegit
Newly acquired Thunder center Kendrick Perkins will miss two-to-three weeks with a sprained MCL in his left knee. This is a tough break for OKC and Perkins, who won't have much time to gel before the playoffs roll around. In the meantime, Nazr Mohammed and Nick Collison will be asked to do some heavy lifting in the frontcourt. Perkins' fantasy owners should probably cut bait and look for a healthy alternative.http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nba/154194/basketball-headlines?r=

Purple&Gold
It really does hurt the role of the starting lineup of the OKC Thunder. Without size, rhythm of their games will be off and chemistry will get worst. Its best for back-ups to go out and give their best effort. It is hard without Jeff Green and his all around talent. I hope to see Perkins return soon and make his debut surprisingly for this team. He can be a huge factor on both ends of the floor and become a big player. Health is only the problem. kingfish
Bet you this is why the Celtics traded him. Isnt this the same injury that he had last season?

The Truth
deal's looking better for Boston every day. running Green at the 4 with Garnett or Kristic at the 5 makes it seem even more attractive. Boston still has size, but they can mix it with speed at certain points of the game now as well.
