I see Carmelo Anthony as a better version of Bernard King, but I admit that King had the better peak year which was his 8th season. In King's 8th season he was 28 and in his prime, Carmelo is just now turning 26. At this point in their careers I think Carmelo was the better player and if you compare Carmelo's career to King as a whole, I would still give Carmelo the edge. Multi-Billionaire Posted February 27, 2011 Report Share Posted February 27, 2011 Melo has a prettier jump shot, but besides that their game is similar, and have a lot of similar moves, e.g. their spin move, their low post game (King was closer to the rim), their mid-range (Melo liked to shoot 20 footers, King liked to shoot around the paint), their hesitation dribble penetration...
