YugoRocketsFan
This really deserves its own thread but it is obvious that Rockets got rid of Battier so they can start Chase Budinger. I think it is pretty crazy that only in his sophomore season at age 22 he is a NBA starter. Since his 30 point game vs Cleveland and 27 point game vs the Nets you have to admit that he has a lot of potential and could be a legit 2nd or 3rd scorer. I dont see him as a 2nd leading scorer. Maybe a third on a bad team to average team like ours. Also want to add it was kind of stupid of the Nets to leave Bud open so many times. htown11
He's got potential I remember at the start of the year the debate was whether or not the Rockets should seriously consider starting Bud but he started the year off so bad that the idea died fast, plus the fact that it is literally no defense on the court. Rockets have played sub par teams recently and taken care of business which is great but still very curious how they play against better teams like New Orleans tonight. ChosenOne
Yes he has alot of potential but like i mentioned last do not read much into it it was only two games against two very bad teams. Nets and Cavs..
