The Regime
Lakers coach Phil Jackson says the team's upcoming road trip will "make-or-break" their season. They will play the Spurs and Mavericks, who are ahead of them in the standings, on the trip. "We're starting to look at the season," Jackson said. "Most every team is underneath 20 games [remaining], so you start looking where people are." Heading into Friday's game, the Lakers trailed the Spurs by 7.5 games and the Mavericks by two games in the standings. "This trip is really like a make-or-break point of the season for us," Jackson said. "If we play really well on this road trip, we have a chance to do things. If we don't, we'll settle in and assume that we're fighting for either second or third place, hopefully." http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=6183645
Shard
Hopefully the Spurs can snap their backs for a 3-0 season swamping. That'd be a nice last two games.
