"I think I played enough," said Ilgauskas. "I don't want to sit on bench and do nothing. I'm tired of long trips and tough schedule. I'm not a 20-year-old and my health is not that good, therefore I think that after this season it will be a good time to retire from the NBA."

It will be sad to see him retire. I don't think a lot of fans hate Z.

He went to Miami to ring chase with Lebron, and a lot of Cleveland fans were disappointed in that. Now he probably wont get a ring, and he will have betrayed Cleveland and nobody likes him now.

Sucks for you Z. ^_^

Hey, at least the Cavs fans didn't burn and piss on Big Z's jersey after he left.

I know a lot of Cleveland fans still like him, and if I remember correctly, he was cheered when he came back there.

He'll be a part of the Cavs management soon, but this is terribly sad....always remembered him and LBJ hugging after winning the 2007 ECF (to think we would never make it closer the following THREE seasons is shocking) ....it's a shame, a damn shame this is how everything went down.

Z thanked the city, whereas LBJ didn't at all, so he will always be respected and loved by us fans.

"To the city of Cleveland, my fans in Cleveland, my fans in northeast Ohio," said James, "I want to say thank you for the last seven years and the years that continue to go in the future."

I don't remember simple words. I remember acts. Z made a personal message in the Plain Dealer.
